Virtual Events on Clean Energy: November-May 2021

U.P. Clean Energy Conference Series
This series of monthly virtual events has built awareness and interest among stakeholders in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan about opportunities for clean energy solutions that will work in the UP. Sessions have been designed to connect to the work of the UP Energy Task Force, which was appointed by Governor Whitmer in 2019 to assess the UP's overall energy needs and how they are currently being met and to formulate alternative solutions for meeting the UP's energy needs. The conference series aims to share information and resources and to mobilize enthusiasm for policies and programs that will support a faster and more beneficial energy transition in the UP. The series also promotes more networking among UP leaders to encourage collaborative efforts and learning about clean energy.
Over 500 unique individuals participated in one or more of the events held between November and April. Past Events and their recordings are archived on this website.
